STILLWATER, OK. (MARION COUNTY NOW)—A Marion County student has been awarded an academic scholarship by the Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Maci Carter of Caledonia was honored at the Ferguson College’s 2025 Scholarship and Awards banquet on April 3. Carter is majoring in Agribusiness and Agricultural Communications and is a recipient of the CHS Foundation Scholarship.

The scholarships distributed by the Ferguson College of Agriculture this year total more than $1.8 million. Students across all areas of study within the college are eligible for these scholarships, which can be combined with other departmental and university awards.

“Our students continuously showcase academic and professional success through their endeavors in the Ferguson College,” said Cynda Clary, associate dean of academic programs for the Ferguson College of Agriculture. “These scholarships, made possible because of the generosity of our alumni and friends, are a testament to our student’s success and we are proud to recognize them.”
