Randy McAroy was arrested this week for allegedly molesting a young girl and inappropriately touching other students at a Western Heights Public Schools elementary school.
The Oklahoma State Department of Education has launched an investigation into the horrors the substitute teacher is accused of in a court affidavit. Many of the details are too disturbing to share.
McAroy is facing several counts of lewd acts with a child after an 8-year-old girl had the courage to say she and other students were being inappropriately touched at school.
McAroy is accused of molesting an 8-year-old student in the classroom and touching several other students.
This all happened at Greenvale Elementary in February when the 8-year-old girl told her mother and police that her substitute teacher “touched her chest, smacked her butt, and grabbed her inner thigh” and “placed her on his lap” several times throughout the day.
Court documents also state that the student said McAroy “pulled her hand” and “made her touch him” inappropriately.
Documents go on to say he then showed her a video of a naked 8-year-old student.
The student told police she saw the substitute teacher touch four other students in class, including her brother.
School district officials told police McAroy was removed from the school and that he was contracted through a substitute staffing company, ESS.
But this wasn’t the first time the substitute teacher was caught acting inappropriately in the classroom.
District officials told police in November 2024 that a teacher caught him in a dark classroom with a student on his lap.
According to the document, a complaint was made and McAroy was told not to have children on his lap or have the classroom lights off.
The staffing company told police that McAroy taught 93 times since August 2024 at five different schools.

KOCO 5 reached out to neighboring school districts to find out if he ever worked for them, but every district that responded said he had not.
In a statement to KOCO 5, Western Heights Public Schools said all substitute teachers must pass a criminal background check, and McAroy’s was clean.
They went on to say he is no longer permitted to work in the district.
McAroy bailed out of jail Friday morning. He had a $250,000 bond.
ESS, the staffing company, declined to comment.
Oklahoma City Police Department officials said if there are additional victims, officers would like to speak with them.
McAroy has not yet been formally charged.
